Some situations defy explanation, leaving us with more questions than answers. It might be a strange story from a credible source or a terrible inci:dent we’ve directly witnessed—such unusual happenings remain with us. Talking about them may provide consolation and healing, as seen by people in this article who shared their experiences with countless others online.
Story 1:
My son once told me, “Mommy, a big man comes into my room at night.” “Tell him to go.” I brushed it off. Weeks later, I awoke at 3 a.m. to a commotion in his room. I rushed there and found him sitting on his bed, looking out the window and talking to himself. I peered across the street and saw what appeared to be a human figure standing in the apartment’s lit-up room.
My pulse raced, but when I looked closer, I saw it was only the arrangement of a lamp and furniture casting a shadow that resembled a human. I breathed with satisfaction and sat alongside my kid, telling him that no one was entering his room. As he fell asleep, I took one more glance to ensure it was merely a trick of the light.
Story 2:
I was once sitting on the couch with my partner when I heard the words “I love you.” Then my partner says, “I love you, too.” I was really perplexed because I wasn’t the one who said “I love you.” My mouth was closed.
I recall hearing and feeling the vibrations of words and noises being made, but neither I nor he was responsible for them. It seemed like a feminine voice speaking right in front of my face, although there was no one outside the window or in the room with us. It was creepy. I’m still thinking about it. © TenderN***leBender, Reddit.
Story 3:
I have very distinct recollections of a red and yellow snake thing created out of socks. It possessed slender, bony limbs and legs, as well as a lamprey-like mouth. I now believe they were hallucinations, which I still suffer from, but I’ll never forget what they looked like.
